Welcome to the home page of my book Internet Simplified. My goal in this book is to take the sheer immensity and daunting complexity of the Internet and reduce it down so that it's manageable, comprehensible, and, in short, simplified.
Folks without Internet connections learn how to choose an Internet service provider and how to set up their computer to connect to the Internet. From there, the book shows the basics of web browsing and then tackles useful web topics such as security, searching, media, social networking, and e-commerce.
The rest of the book covers email basics, email privacy and security, instant messaging, chat, and blogs.
