After operating on Windows XP for years at work (still) and at home, the old home computer was almost dead and was replaced with a Windows 7 configured laptop. I got your book (Complete Idiot'sGuide to Windows 7) to see how it all works. I like your approach to teaching the system as if you dont know much about computers, but one thing that would have been interesting to those who have some computer knowledge is what Microsoft left behind in the upgrade. Maybe some kind of comparison table of what you cant do any longer. For example, I really hate the new windows explorer. It was so logical in XP and now you cant go backwards if you happen to go down the wrong path looking for a file, you have to start over in the library.
Being a home computer, there are four users so I also miss the ability to look for data (like pictures) in other users files. Hunting for a picture that I know my daughter took and saved can only now be retrieved by logging on as her or having her specifically tag the picture as being shared. Not real efficient. So, showing these kind of lost features may be intersting to the more veteran users.
